September 11, 2001, was many Americans’ first encounter with jihadist savagery. But did we learn anything? Politicians have bent over backwards to tell us that Islamic terror has nothing to do with Islam, claiming “violent extremists” are distorting the religion. More insanely, they claim terrorists are created by things like global warming and income inequality. In reality, the endless wars in the Middle East and carnage on our own streets are a direct result of not acknowledging the size and nature of the jihadist threat, based on core tenets and texts of the religion. Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch, author of the new book “The History of Jihad,” joins Andrew to discuss all this and more.
